ESPN's High School Football Kickoff Schedule Announced, 6 Defending State Champs To Be Featured

ESPN released its 2017 Geico ESPN High School Football Kickoff line up on Wednesday and five of the top six teams of the final USA Super 25 Rankings will featured in the televised games which will air August 25-27. Among the 14 teams to play in the “Kickoff”, six are defending state champions including Bishop Gorman (NV) who will face DeMatha (MD) in the second game of opening night’s double header and Cartersville (GA) who will go heads up with Bartram Trail (FL) on Saturday in the third game of the day two. The rest of the matchups go as follow, Friday: St. John Bosco (CA) vs St. Thomas Aquinas (FL), Saturday: Tulsa Union (OK) vs Broken Arrow (OK), Saraland (AL) vs Heard County (GA), IMG Academy (FL) Sunday: Wayne (OH) vs Pine-Richland (PA).
