Alabama O-Line Beefs Up, As Mater Dei's Tommy Brown Commits To The Tide
On Friday, four-star offensive lineman Tommy Brown announced his commitment to the University of Alabama Football program. Brown, who is heading into his final season for Mater Dei out of Santa Ana, California, told Scout.com, “Alabama has always been my dream school.” He added that it was also the “hardest decision of my life” and that despite offers from programs all across the country, Oregon and Alabama were the final choices for him. Brown’s football career is relatively young as the 6-foot-7, 313 pound offensive tackle did not start playing football until his freshman year. Brown’s father, Vince Brown was a track and field athlete at Alabama, "my parents are super excited for me as well and I can't wait to follow in my dad's footsteps here," Brown told Scout.com.
