4 Stars For Michigan and Michigan State As Linebacker Cameron McGrone Commits to Wolverines and Offe
On Monday, the instate rivalry between Michigan and Michigan State continued off the field as both programs landed four star recruits. For the Wolverines, Cameron McGrone out of Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis, announced that he would be taking his football talents to the University of Michigan during a ceremony at his school on Monday. At 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, McGrone is ranked 217 in the nation for class of 2018 prospects as well as the 14th outside linebacker. McGrone finished his junior season with 52 tackles, 15 of those for loss, and four and a half sacks before tearing his ACL six games into the season. Meanwhile, up the road in East Lansing, Michigan State landed a four star commit of their own as offensive tackle, Spencer Brown announced that he would be “furthering my academic and athletic career at Michigan State University.” Brown, a 6-foot-6, 295 pound offensive tackle at Walled Lake Western High School, also had offers from other Big 10 Schools Iowa and Minnesota as well as ACC schools Boston College and Louisville.
