Bulldogs Top Raiders As Tri Cities Knocks Off Mays 58-50

On Tuesday, the Tri Cities Bulldogs traveled across town to face region rival the Mays Raiders. A win for the Bulldogs would keep them just two games behind region leader, the Langston Hughes Panthers and improve their overall record to 14-3.

The Bulldogs would get out to an early 8-2 lead but the Raiders would go on 6-2 run to get within two of Tri Cities as they trailed 8-6 early in the first quarter.

Having trailed the entire game, Mays would cut an 11 point deficit in the third quarter down to 35-31 but behind Elijah Lawrence's 21 points and john Young's 16 points, the Bulldogs would go on to win by a final score of 58-50. Watch highlights from the game below now!
