Lady Lions Show National Ranking Power, Westlake Tops N. Clayton 84-43

Ranked No. 3 in the state of Georgia and No. 56 in the nation, the Westlake Lady Lions hit the road looking to extend their current four game win streak to five in a row with a win of the North Clayton Lady Eagles.

After defeating Pebblebrook 84-36 on Friday night, the Lions seemed to pick up right where they left off jumping out to an early 15-3 in the first quarter and go on to close out the period with a 24-5 lead.

In the second quarter, as more the Lions' second and third string team saw action, Westlake would climb to a 47-21 lead by halftime and go on to win by a final score of 84-43. The win would make it the second consecutive night that the Lions scored 80 plus points and the sixth time this season. Watch highlights from the game below now!
