Crusaders Pick Up 97-90 Win Despite Titan's Collins Joseph 40 Points As CCMA Knocks Off NFCA
After a tough 81-67 loss to Aspire Academy out of Louisville, Kentucky last week, the New Faith Christian Academy Titans looked to rebound in their Tuesday night match up against the Covenant Christian Ministries Academy Crusaders. After the Crusaders would get out to 20-8 lead in the first quarter, they would go on to take a 43-32 lead into the locker room at the half.
But in the third quarter, led by 2018 McDonald's All American nominee, Collins Joseph, the Titans would go on a 14-4 run, 12 of those points for Joseph, to take a 56-55 lead. Joseph would continue his offensive barrage in the fourth quarter scoring the final five points of the quarter to tie the game and send it into over time.
However, despite a strong showing Joseph in the OT period, the Crusaders would manage to hold off the Titans run and pull away with the 97-90 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
