War Eagles Improve To 6-0 As Marist Defeats Riverwood 3-1

Riding a five game win streak, the Marist War Eagles headed into their match on Tuesday against Riverwood with hopes of extending their streak. The most recent victories for the War Eagles resulted in them shutting out their last two opponents 4-0 and things appeared to heading in that direction once again for Marist as they took a 3-0 lead just after the second half began.

After several good looks, the Raiders would finally get on the scoreboard midway through the second half as they trailed 3-1 with 14:42 remaining in the game . Riverwood would continue to get decent shot attempts off but also continued to come up shorts as they fell to Marist 3-1 allowing the War Eagles to improve to 6-0 on the season.
