Lions Explode For Seven Runs In Third Inning, Westlake Defeats Columbia 17-7
Things would look down early for the Westlake Lions on Saturday against the Columbia Eagles, as they found themselves with a 6-1 deficit going into the bottom of the third inning. But the Lions would explode for seven runs in the bottom of the third inning and take a 8-6 lead and go on to win by a final score of 17-7.
They allowed the Eagles to only score one more run which came at the top of the sixth inning. the Lions had a big fourth inning as well, scoring four runs which gave them an 12-6 lead as they headed into the top of the fifth inning. Watch highlights from the game below now!
