Spartans March Into GHSA 2A Final Four As Glenn Hills Picks Up 73-52 Win Over Therrell

As the third round of the Georgia High School Association boys basketball state playoffs continued on Wednesday night, the Therrell Panthers hosted the Glenn Hills Spartans in 2A action. After the opening tip, a pair of shooting fouls early on would help the Spartans get out to a 6-0 lead to start the game.

Glenn Hills would go up by as many eight in the first quarter however in the second quarter, Therrell would narrow the Spartans lead to two on a couple of occasions but that would be as close as the Panthers would get as midway through the second period, the Spartans would begin to pull away going up by as many as twelve points.

In the second half, the Spartans continued to build their lead as the Panthers struggled offensively, falling to Glenn Hills 73-52. With the win, the Spartans are headed to the final four of the GHSA 2A state playoffs. Watch highlights from the game below now!
