Brooke Beard, Shelby Stock 5 Goals Each As Fellowship Christian Defeats Woodward Academy 17-5

On Wednesday, the Woodward War Eagles Girls lacrosse team hosted the Fellowship Christian Paladins and looked to avoid a third consecutive loss, while the Paladins looked to win their second straight game. The Paladins would strike first courtesy a goal by Brooke Beard with the assist being credited to Camille Stroud.

Following a failed War Eagles' attempt to tie the game up, the Paladins would score for a second time, this time Haley Herman with the goal and Stroud with another assist would help give Fellowship Christian a 2-0 lead. The War Eagles would eventually get on the board after So. Megan Millner would score for Woodward and the War Eagles would trail 2-1.

The Paladins offense would respond by outscoring the War Egals 8-2 to close out the first half with a 10-3 lead. In the second half the Paladins' offense would continue their attack, scoring seven more times, including four goals from Shelby Stock who would finish with five total goals along with Brooke Beard who also finished with five goals as the Paladins picked up the 17-5 win.
