East Coweta's Kelley Lynch Named To All-USA Softball Second Team

The 2017 season was one full of accomplishments for East Coweta's Kelley Lynch. The rising senior helped lead the Indians to the 2017 Georgia High School Association Class 7A championship as they finished the season undefeated, going 36-0. Lynch too was undefeated as a starting pitcher going 14-0 with a 193 strikeouts and an ERA of .045. When it came to honors for an amazing season, Lynch was named Newnan-Herald Player of the Year, Georgia Dugout Player of the Year, and Gatorade Softball Player of the Year for Georgia, a national honor. On Monday, Lynch recieved another national honor as she was named to the All-USA Softball Second Team. On top of her perfect performance from the mound, the Auburn commit also batted .454 and went deep for 10 home runs and added 50 RBI's.
