4-Star Safety Jordan Battle Joins Buckeyes 2019 Recruits, Commits To Ohio State
Early Friday afternoon, four star safety, Jordan Battle out of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Battle's announcement comes days after four star quarterback, Dwan Mathis, de-committed from Michigan State and committed to the Buckeyes. Battle told 247Sports, "Today's my mother's birthday, so it's a great day to announce I am committed to Ohio State." Battle added that he had a great visit in Columbus and that Ohio State is where he should be. While visiting the Buckeyes campus, Battle had a chance to speak with defensive backs coach, Tavar Johnson and head coach Urban Meyer, and according to the 6-foot-1, 187 pound safety, the talks went very well.
