Sharman White Officially Returning To Coach High School Basketball, Named Pace Academy Boys Head Coa
Back in May, former Miller Grove High School boys basketball coach, Sharman White announced that he would be leaving his position as assistant coach with the Georgia State Panthers to take the role of associate athletic director at Pace Academy. His return sparked much speculation that White would also be returning to coaching and as of Wednesday, there's no longer a need to speculate. White spoke with USA Today Sports about his return to coaching and had this to say, "I'm excited for the opportunity to continue the championship level culture that is synonymous with Pace Academy." White spent the previous two seasons at Georgia State and prior to that, White gained national notoriety by leading Miller Grove to seven Georgia High School Association state titles in ten years and had a 264-47 record while with the Wolverines. "Pace Academy has all the intangibles that are needed to be consistently recognized as one of the premier programs in the country," White told USA Today Sports.
