PSN Spotlight: Banneker Trojans Football

It had been a few years since the Banneker Trojans had, had a winning season, but in their first year under head Coach Mario Allen, the Trojans wrapped up the 2017 season with a 8-3 overall record after falling to the Southwest Dekalb Panthers in the opening round of the Georgia High School Association 5A state playoffs.

For the upcoming season, the Trojans look to make another return to the playoffs and plan to use the success of the 2017 season to help them accomplish their goals. We got a chance to catch up with the Trojans and a recent summer practice for our PSN Spotlight and spoke with assistant coach and defensive coordinator DeJuan Payne about the teams preparation for the upcoming season.
