Buford's Jalar Holley Joins Former Wolve's Head Coach Jess Simpson, Commits To Miami Hurrica
Sunday afternoon, the Miami Hurricanes landed a commitment from Buford Wolves' defensive lineman, Jalar Holley. The 6-foot-2, 280 pound defensive tackle made his announcement via Twitter on Sunday in which he thanked the various college coaches that he spoke with throughout his recruitment process. Programs that looked to land a commitment from Holley included Florida, Clemson, Auburn, and several others. A 2019 recruit, Holley is considered the No. 55 nationally ranked defensive tackle by 247 Sports as well as the 85th ranked player in Georgia. His commitment to Miami is also significant because Holley will be playing for the Hurricanes defensive line coach Jess Simpson, who a former head coach at Buford.
