Lions Roar To Second Straight Win As Lovett Defeats Lakeside 15-3

On Wednesday, the Lakeside Lady Vikings hosted the Lovett Lady Lions in an early season match up with the Vikings looking to rebound from a 9-0 loss to Dunwoody, while the Lions, who were coming off a 12-3 win over Blessed Trinity, looked to get off to a 2-0 start on the season. The Lions would look good early as they found themselves with a 4-0 lead after two innings.

In the bottom of the second inning, the Lions looked like they were going to get their offense going after they picked up two runs to cut Lovett's lead in half as the Lions led 4-2. But in the top of the third inning, Lovett's bats stayed on as they tacted on another four runs to take a 6-2 lead and later in the top of the fourth innings, another seven runs would push the Lions lead to 13-2.
