Wolves Winners On Day Two of Corky Kell As Buford Defeats Tucker 40-14

On day two of the 27th Annual Corky Kell Classic, the Buford Wolves, who lost to the Rome Wolves in the 2017 Georgia High School Association Class 5A semi finals, took on the Tucker Tigers, who fell to Coffee in the 2017 GHSA 6A semi finals. As the game got underway, both defenses would show up early not allowing either offense to produce any points in the first quarter. Tucker would eventually tie the game up 7-7 after a Tyler Hughey 50 plus yards touchdown run. However, the Wolves would once again dive deep into Tiger territory and on a 3rd and goal, Brown would rush for his second touchdown of the game giving Buford a 14-7 lead.

In the third quarter, the Wolves would take a 21-7 lead thanks to a Aaron McLaughlin touchdown pass to Brown for Brown's third touchdown of the game. After Tucker would cut into the Buford lead and trail, 21-14, Brown would rush for his fourth touchdown giving the Wolves a 28-14 lead. Later in the third, McLaughlin would throw for his second touchdown of the game and give Buford a 35-14 lead after connecting with Austin Turner.
