War Eagles Winners On Day One Of "Block Party" As South Forsyth Defeats Lovett 2-0

On day one of the annual Lovett Block Party hosted by the Lovett Lions volleyball team, the Lovett Lions hosted the South Forsyth War Eagles in an opening round match up of the tournament. In the set one of the best of three series, the War Eagles lead most of the way and go on to win by a final of 25-18.

In the second set, the Lady Lions would fall behind 3-1 early, but would score three unanswered points to take a 4-3 lead. A lead that unfortunately for Lovett, would not last long as they would soon find themselves in an 18-14 hole and unable to dig themselves out of it as they would go to lose the set 25-18 as well as lose the match up 2-0.
