Warriors Volleyball Win Annual APS Championship As North Atlanta Defeats Maynard Jackson 2-0

In a long day of high school volleyball action, the annual Atlanta Public School's APS Championship took place at Maynard Jackson High School with all teams from the district onsite to participate in the annual classic.

There were plenty of great match ups throughout the day which saw the Washington Bulldogs take home the third place trophy and host school Maynard Jackson and the North Atlanta Warriors facing off twice in the day. The opening game would feature the Lady Jaguars taking on the Lady Warriors with the Warriors picking up the win.

The Warriors would then battle their way through the tournament to advance to the championship game in which they would face none other than Maynard Jackson, who after losing the opening game to the Warriors, would fight their way through into the championship game.

In the opening set, things would remain close but the Warriors would eventually pull away taking the first set 25-12. In set two, it would be the Warriors all the way as they would cruise to a 25-8 win and take the match 2-0 and take home first in the tournament. Watch highlights from the match below now!
