Tigers Remain Unbeaten, Claim Texas 4A Division 1 Area 4 Title As Sealy Defeats Boerne 56-28

With their perfect season on the line, the 11-0 Sealy Tigers rolled into the second week of playoff action to take on the Boerne Greyhounds. The Tigers would take charge early in the first quarter as they took a 14-0 lead courtesy a Gerret Zaskoda touchdown pass to AJ McGee and a rushing touchdown by Ivan Bolden.

In the second quarter, the Greyhounds would find themselves trailing 28-7 but a touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Rashawn Galloway to Julio Riggs would have Boerne trailing 28-14 at the half. In the third quarter, a rushing touchdown by Boerne's Colton Pool would cut the Tigers' lead and the Greyhounds would trail 28-21.

However, later in the third quarter, the Tigers would tack on two more touchdowns, including another rushing touchdown by Bolden, who finished with four touchdowns, and a Zaskoda to Draper Parker connection that would give Sealy a 42-21 lead. Later in the fourth quarter, Zaskoda would throw his third touchdown of the game connecting with Clay Roberts to give the Tigers a 49-28 lead. A pick six by Seasly's Brendan Luff would help the Tigers pick up the 56-28 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
