Red Devils Impressive Wins But Golden Lions Take The Match As St. Pius Defeats Druid Hills

On Tuesday, the St. Pius Golden Lions wrestling team hosted a quad dual that featured the Druid Hills Red Devils, the Tucker Tigers and the South Atlanta Hornets. In their opening match, a depleted Golden Lions team would take on the Red Devils on their senior night. With many of their wrestlers out due to injury, St. Pius would have to move a few wrestlers up to take on the also, shorthanded Red Devils.

With only three matched to take place, the Red Devils would look very impressive as they would win all three weight classes which included Tristen Hill defeating Andrew Soba in 106 pound weight class, Dean Sprinkle defeating William Pentecost at the 120 pound weight class and Moises Almanza defeating Collier Brandford at the 285 pound weight class. Despite Druid Hills picking up the wins, too many forfeits by the Red Devils would allow the Golden Lions to pick up the win 54-18. Watch highlights from the match below now!
