Westlake Lions Score 14 Runs In Second Inning For 19-2 Win Over South Atlanta Hornets


The Westlake Lions baseball team were in action on Thursday as they hosted the South Atlanta Hornets. The Lions' bats would heat up very early in this contest as they would score five runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 5-0 lead.

After a one, two, three top of the first inning, which included two strikeouts by Westlake pitcher, Adam Henry, the Lions would get their bats to sound off once again in the bottom of the second inning and this time for 14 runs, including a grand slam by Dominique Page that put the Lions up 16-0. Westlake would go on and pick up the 10-2 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
