Indians Bounce Back As Cross Keys Defeats Chamblee 2-1 In Key Region Match Up

On Friday, the Cross Keys Indians boys soccer team took on the Chamblee Bulldogs in a key region match up. The Indians came into the night coming off their first loss of the season and looked to get right back into the winners column.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs were looking to pick up their second straight win which would also keep them in contention for a region championship. Cross Keys would come out aggressive on the offensive end and both teams would have several shot attempts but it would be the Indians on the board first after a goal by Jose Romero.

In the second half, another goal by Angel Castillas would give the Indians a 2-0 lead. As the half continued, Jared Snaders would score for the Bulldogs to make it a 2-1 lead for Cross Keys with 4:15 to go. However, despite several more shot attempts, Chamblee would fall short as Cross Keys picked up the 2-1 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
