Indians Win Shoot Out With Warriors As East Coweta Defeats North Cobb 14-13

On Thursday night the North Cobb Warriors girls lacrosse team hosted the East Coweta Indians. As the game got underway, both teams got their offenses going as the Warriors led 8-6 midway into halftime. The Warriors and the Indians were going neck and neck the entire game as the two teams continued to trade goals throughout the night.

If one team scored, the other one always answered. In the second half with 1:43 remaining in the game the game would be tied 13-13. With time winding down and 15 seconds to go the Indians go coast to coast and score a goal, taking a 14-13 lead. North Cobb would win the ensuing draw and get a chance to tie the game, but they could not make it happen and East Coweta would go home with a win, final score 14-13.
