Trojans Remain Perfect As Lassiter Defeats Allatoona 12-6 For Bucs First Loss Of The Season

On Wednesday, the Lassiter Trojans boys lacrosse team hosted the Allatoona Buccaneers. Both teams cam into the match up with undefeated records, Lassiter 7-0 and Allatoona 9-0.

The Trojans would open up the game scoring three unanswered goals, including two goals by Ethan Cox (4 goals), both assisted by Braden Erksa (2 goals), to take a 3-0 lead. Allatoona would manage to get within one of the Trojans twice throughout the contest, but the trojans defense forced several Bucs' turnovers which helped Lassiter score several more times including 4 goals by Andrew Atchinson.

Lassiter's Murphy Mostellar also contributed with two goals. The Trojans would go on to pick up the 12-6 win and improve to 8-0 and handing the Buccaneers their first life of the season. Watch highlights from the game below now!
