South Atlanta Evens Up Season Series With Hapeville After Winning Second Leg 3-2

On Tuesday night, the defending Georgia High School Association Class 2A region 6 champions, the South Atlanta Hornets hosted the Hapeville Charter Hornets in the second leg of their season series.

After losing the very first game of the season to Hapeville 7-3, South Atlanta starts the game off hot and makes an early statement following a goal by Kevin Gomez to put South Atlanta up 1-0. However, Hapeville would score two unanswered goals, including a perfect head by Alex Barnett (Joseph Pastrana on the assist) to take a 2-1 lead.

But in the second half, South Atlanta keeps their momentum going, scoring yet another goal by Felix Niyibizi to tie the game 2-2. And with the time winding down in the game, South Atlanta would manager to score again picking up the 3-2 win.
