Westminster Wildcats Wrap Regular Season With 3-0 Win Over Cross Keys
On Thursday night the Westminster Wildcats boys soccer team took on the Cross Keys Indians in their final regular season game. Although this was a non-conference match up, withbBoth teams have an amazing records, those in attendance were in for a good match up.
Westminster would get their offensive going early with two tough shots on goal but the Cross Keys keeper was on his game not allowing a goal. However, later in the first half, Westminster's Charlie Ham would get the Wildcats on the board after a goal, making it a 1-0 lead for Westminster at the half.
In the second half, Westminster would come out strong scoring two more goals to go up 3-0. On the other side, Cross Keys was never able to get their offensive going leading to the Wildcats picking up the 3-0 win to wrap up their regular season.
