LSU Tigers Football Lands Local Commit, 4-Star Defensive Tackle, Jaquelin Roy
The LSU Tigers football program has been hoping to land one of Louisiana’s top prospects from the class of 2020 and as of now, it is looking like they are getting their wish. Jaquelin Roy, a defensive tackle for University Laboratory School in Baton Rouge, announced his commitment to play for the Coach Ed Orgeron led Tigers, telling 247Sports, “It’s a home feeling, I love it.” This marks the second time the 6-foot-4, 290 pound Roy committed to LSU. Back in the summer of 2018, Roy pledged to play for the Tigers but then later decommitted to consider other offers he was getting. Those offers included Alabama, Texas A&M and over 20 other top programs from around the country.
