PSN Spotlight: Westlake Lions Football New Leadership, Same Goals For 2019 Season

With just a few weeks to go before high school football teams hit the field for their first regular season game of 2019, we got a chance to stop by and visit with the Westlake Lions football team out of City of South Fulton, Georgia. The Lions are coming off a 2018 season that saw them finish up 9-3 overall and capture the Georgia High School Association Class 7A Region 2 Title, however a 24-0 second round loss to Lowndes County in the GHSA 7A state playoffs would end the Lions' season. As the Lions rolled into their spring season, then head coach Kareem Reid departed to take the helm with Griffin High School and soon after, offensive coordinator Bobby May would be named the new head coach of the Lions. We got a chance to visit with Coach May and Westlake to see how things have been shaping up since he took over as they get ready for the 2019 season.
