Corky Kell Classic Luncheon Signifies Start Of Georgia High School Football

In Georgia, you know that the high school football season is officially underway when the Corky Kell Classic rolls around. The annual football classic host the first games of the season and what was once a one day double header, has now grown into three days of football featuring 18 teams from around the state.

Every year, the classic is kicked off by the Corky Kell Classic Luncheon, where coaches and players from the teams participating in the classic come together with Corky Kell organizers, sponsors and local media to talk about getting ready for the weekend as well as the season.

We got a chance to stop by Wednesday's luncheon to speak with several of the coaches and players in attendance, as well as with Corky Kell Classic Co-Creator/Organizer Dave Hunter.
