27 Point First Quarter For Raiders As Riverdale Rolls To 53-7 Win Over Drew Titans

On Friday, for the second straight week, the Riverdale Raiders football team would face another cross town rival as they took on the Drew Titans. The Raiders would set the tone early scoring on their first three possessions including two touchdown passes by junior quarter back Avaun Rucker, who would finish with three passing touchdowns and one rushing score, taking an early 21-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Raiders would close out the first quarter with a 27-0 lead. In the second quarter running back Malik Harris and junior quarterback Fredrick Collins the third would each rush for a touchdown to give the Raiders a 40-0 lead at the half. Defensively, Riverdale would get a solid performance as they would hold the Titans to seven points and would come up with four interceptions on the night. The Raiders would go on to pick up the win by a final score of 53-7. Derwin Burgess Jr. and Tremaine Moore would each have two touchdowns in the Riverdale win.
