Westlake's Zachary Hall, Langston Hughes' Lauren Lewis Winners At South Metro Cross Country

On Thursday, Westlake High School in the City of South Fulton was the site for the second South Metro cross country meet. The meet included host school Westlake along with Langston Hughes, Tri Cities and Creekside. The mixed two mile run would be dominated by the Westlake boys team as they would take the top three finishes with Zachary Hall leading the way as he finished with a first place time of 11:49.

The win would be his first of the season. Meanwhile, on the girl's side of the mixed two mile run, Lauren Lewis would pick up her second win of the season as she finished in a time of 14:07, almost a minute and 15 seconds head of the second place finisher, Westlake's Kieley Gayle.
