Ellie Spears Wins Fourth Straight APS Series Cross Country Meet, Jayden Causey Picks Up First Win

On Wednesday, the Atlanta Public School cross country series continued with their fourth meet of the season. On the girls side of the 5K race, Ellie Spears of Grady High School would lead throughout the entire meet, trailed by several teammates.

Spears would go on to win the meet in a time of 23:04 for her fourth straight win of the series. On the boys side of the meet, Jayden Causey would maintain a good pace behind the leader but make his move on the final leg of the race to pick up his first win of the series in a time of 18:11.
