Highlights From North Forsyth, Parkview Consultation Match Up On Day Two Of GHSA Softball State Tour

On the second day of the Georgia High School Association softball state tournament, the North Forsyth Lady Raiders took on the Parkview Panthers in an elimination game in Class 7A action. In the top of the first, the Raiders would take an early 2-0 lead and then a pitching dual would start as Parkview's Maya Watson and Haily Mize of the Raiders would battle over the next few innings as the score would remain 2-0 through the top of the sixth inning, where the Raiders would pick up another four runs to take a 6-0 lead. North Forsyth would go on to win by the same score, eliminating Parkview from the tournament. The Raiders would later fall to Etowah 4-1 and be eliminated from the tournament.
