Miller Grove Closes Out Tip-Off Classic With 63-50 Win Over Host Parkview

On Tuesday, the Miller Grove Wolverines took on the Parkview Panthers in the Panthers' annual "Tip-Off Classic". The Wolverines headed into their their third and final game of the classic with previous wins over Woodland and Riverwood and looked to close out the annual event with a win over host Parkview to win all three of their match ups in the classic.

The Wolverines would get out to a big lead as they would open up the first quarter with a 13-0 run and close out the opening period with a 23-6 lead. Miller Grove would continue to dominate the Panthers in the second and third quarters as Zaire Greene (24 points) would help the Wolverines go up by as many as 22 points, but the Panthers would make a run late in the third quarter to cut the Miller Grove lead down to 11 points as they trailed 47-36.

As the fourth quarter got underway. the Panthers would cut the Wolverines lead to nine as a Kobe Bass three pointer would make it a 47-39 game in favor of Miller Grove, but Greene and company would clamp down defensively and pull away with the 65-50 win. Jamarcus Glover would chip 16 points in the Wolverines win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
