Bulldogs Get Payback Win As Lithonia Defeats Fayette 65-60, Advances To Peach State Championship

On Saturday, the Lithonia Bulldogs boys basketball team took on the Fayette County Tigers in the semi finals of the annual Peach State Classic. The match up was a rematch from last year's Georgia High School Association Class 5A semi final game in which the Tigers got the win.

As expected, the contest would be close throughout the entire game as each quarter would end with no more than a one point lead for either team. However, in the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would take control late, led by Eric Gaines and would hold off the Tigers for the 65-60 win to advance to the finals of the tournament.
