Grayson No. 4 In ESPN Top 25 Boys High School Hoops
As the Grayson Rams Boys basketball team gets set for their Georgia High School Association Class 7A Region 8 tournament, they begin the week coming in ranked No. 4 in the ESPN Top 25 High School Basketball teams for the week of February 3, 2020. Top most, it is no surprise that the Rams have made their way into the national rankings as they boast a 24-1 overall record and went 9-1 in region play to outright win it. Grayson’s notable national wins came over teams such as Memphis East, in state rival McEachern, and Crestwood Prep. The Rams live by the motto that defense produces offense as 10 of their victories were by 20 points or more. Grayson is led by Mississippi State signee Deivon Smith, who is ranked the No. 4 point guard in Georgia, and Caleb Murphy, a South Florida signee and the No. 8 shooting guard in Georgia.
