Holy Innocents Tops Whitefield 4-1To Start Season 2-0

On Tuesday, the Whitefield Academy Wolfpack girls soccer team hosted the Holy Innocents Golden Bears in non-region play as both teams came into the match up off season opening wins last week. Holy Innocents would strike first has as a header by Caroline Belisle off of a corner kick would put the Golden Bears up 1-0.

The Wolfpack would get several good shots led by A'liyah Warrick however would not manage to score in the first half and would still trail 1-0 at the half. In the second half, Holy Innocents would score once again a minute and 22 seconds into the half to take a 2-0 lead thanks to Setareh Khani. Later in the half MacKenzie Weir would give Holy Innocents a 3-0 lead as they would go on to pick up the 4-1 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
