Four Run Third Inning For Campbell Sparks 10-0 Win Over Newnan
On Friday, the Campbell Spartans baseball team hosted the Newnan Cougars for the second time in three days. The Cougars won Tuesday's match up 1-0 so the Spartans looked to rebound from that loss. The Spartans would score first in the bottom of the first inning after a pass ball by Newnan pitcher Hunter Keith would allow Campbell's Michael Braswell to score from third to put the Spartans up 1-0.
In the bottom of the second inning, an RBI single by Braswell would put the Spartans 2-0 and in the bottom of the third, Campbell would add four more runs to take a 6-0 lead. Two more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and another two in the bottom of the sixth inning would propel the Spartans to a 10-0 win. Watch highlights from the game below now!
