Forest Park's Sania Feagin Named Gatorade Georgia Girl's Hoops Player of the Year
On Friday, the Gatorade Company continued their 35th year of honoring the top school athletes from around the nation and announced Sania Feagin of the Forest Park Panthers as their Gatorade Georgia Basketball Player of the Year. Feagin helped lead the Panthers to a 27-6 overall record and the Georgia High School Association Class 6A state championship. The 6-foot-4 junior averaged 17.2 points, 10.4 blocks, 3 steals and 3.6 blocks per game this past season and is ranked the No. 6 recruit out of the class of 2021 according to ESPN. Feagin is now a finalist for the Gatorade National Girl’s Basketball Player of the Year which will be announced later this month.
