PSN Update - Arizona Ends Spring Sports And Activities
On Monday, Arizona joined the list of states that have decided to move forward with the cancellation of the spring sports season amid the COVID-19, coronavirus, pandemic that is sweeping around the world. The Arizona Interscholastic Association made their announcement about the cancellation following the state's Governor, Doug Ducey, announced that school would remain closed for the academic school year. "This is an unfortunate circumstance for all of our member schools, students and coaches," AIA Executive Director David Hines said on Monday. "We know this decision was a hard one, but one that was necessary to assist in the well-being of everyone across Arizona. We hope everyone stays healthy and focused on what the next chapter will bring," Hines added.
