Georgia Coaches Among Top 100 High School Sports Coaches In The Country
Over the weekend, Maxpreps released their list of top 100 high school sports coaches in the country and several coaches from Georgia were among them. Coach Suzanne Fitzgerald of the Walton Raiders volleyball team was among those listed. Fitzgerald has led Walton to nine state championships, including a stretch of five in a row from 2015 to 2019. Both Westminster Wildcats cross country coaches, Joe Tribble (boys) and Amy Eubanks (girls) were also among those Georgia coaches listed and very well deserving. Tribble has led the boys side to 26 state titles, including the last three and Eubanks has the girls side to 24 state championships which includes that last six state titles. Pace Academy's boys basketball head coach, Sharman White, who led the Miller Grove Wolverines to seven state titles which includes a stretch of six in a row from 2009 to 2014 and recently led the Knights to the 2019-2020 3A title, was also named in the top 100 list. Coach Chan Brown of the Parkview Panthers baseball team, rounds out the list of coaches from Georgia among the top 100 in the country. Brown has led the Panthers to five state titles and three national championships.
