North Oconee's Dual Athlete, Bubba Chandler, Switches Commitment To Clemson From Georgia
On Wednesday, North Oconee quarterback and pitcher, Bubba Chandler, announced via twitter that he was committing to the Clemson Tigers to play football and baseball. The announcement comes just weeks after Chandler had previously committed to play baseball with the Georgia Bulldogs. Chandler, who threw for 2098 yards and 27 touchdowns and added four rushing touchdowns and 505 yards on the ground last season, was pretty much set to continue his athletic career as a baseball player on the collegiate level, however after receiving a call back on May 7 when he received calls from Clemson coaches. Chandler admitted that he did not believe he would get an offer from the Tigers being that he never had an official visit to the campus and the Tigers had never been down to Georgia to see him in action. "They're going to develop me into the best player I can be in both sports," Chandler said.
