Harrison Tops Marist 3-0 To Start Season With Two Straight Wins

On Saturday, the Marist War Eagles hosted the Harrison Hoyas as both teams looked to improve to 2-0 to start the season. The Hoyas would be in full control of set one of the match as they would go by as many as six in the set and go on to win it 25-21. Set two, the War Eagles would keep things close and take their first lead of the day, going up 7-6, However, the Hoyas would answer back with a 5-1 run to take an 11-8 lead. From then on, the Hoyas would roll to a 25-16 win in the set. In set three, Marist would find themselves trailing by as many four points when they were down 20-16, but would outscore Harrison 8-4 to tie the set 24-24.
