GAC Spartans Womens and Mens Swim Teams Best Holy Innocents

On Tuesday, the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans swim teams hosted the Holy Innocents Golden Bears in a dual meet and the Spartans would dominate throughout the meet in both men's and women's events. Several Spartans would set state meet qualifying times including Davis Keller in the Men's 50 Freestyle as he placed first with a time of 22.92. Will Trocchi and Seth McGaughey would both qualify for state with their times in the Men's 100 Butterfly. Trocchi finished with a first place time of 55.44 and McGaughey finished second in a time of 56.23. On the women's side for the Spartans, Kathrine Alsobrooke qualified for state with her first place finish in the 100 Butterfly in a time of 1:03.25. And it was a good day for GAC's Grace Niolon-Kachur as she won the Women's 200 Individual Medley in a time of 2:38.38 and the 100 Freestyle in a time of 1:01.97. The Spartans would win the overall meet 363-130 as the men won 171-68 and the women 192-62. Watch highlights from the meet below now!
