On Friday, the annual She Got Game Classic got underway in Atlanta as teams from around the country made their way to Georgia to take part in the annual girls high school basketball showcase, which is one of the largest in the country. In one of the first games of the three day event, local team, the Galloway Scots, led by one of Georgia’s top players in Kyla Cain, took on Lake Highland out of Florida, who is ranked the No. 16 team in the nation and features ESPN 100 2024 recruit Alexandra Blue.

The first quarter would see the two teams traded baskets as the game remained close early with the Highlanders leading 16-14 at the end of the opening period. In the second quarter, Lake Highland would get into a groove and go on a 14-3 run, taking a 30-17 lead, but the Scots would battle back and trail 33-29 at the half. Momentum would fully swing in the Highlanders direction in the third quarter as they would open up on an 8-0 run and despite the Scots efforts, Lake Highland would go on to a 62-44 win.
