Hardaway's Mykel Williams Chooses USC Over Georgia, Alabama
On Tuesday, Hardaway defensive lineman, Mykel Williams announced his commitment to the USC Trojans, turning away offers from Georgia as well as Alabama, Clemson, Georgia Tech and Arizona State. Williams, a 6-foot-5 five star recruit is considered the No. 55 overall recruit in the nation and No. 6 out of the state of Georgia.
As for why the Trojans ended up being Williams pick, “One, the coaching staff, I love the coaching staff,” Williams told 247Sports. He added, “I had a great connection with the whole coaching staff. Two, the players on the team, they want to be great and want to win and do something big. Three, the fans and the atmosphere, it’s electric. Every time I talk about USC on Twitter and Instagram it just feels great.”
Williams, an ESPN 300 Class of 2022 recruit, made the announcement via Twitter with the caption, “It’s over” with the hashtag fight on.
