Prince Avenue Punches Ticket To GHSA 1A Private Title Game With 50-3 Win Over Wesleyan

In the Georgia High School Association Class 1A Private semifinal match up between the Wesleyan Wolves and the Prince Avenue Wolverines, the Wolverines would continue their solid playoff performance as they would knock off the Wolves, 50-3. Prince Avenue quarterback and University of Georgia football signee, Brock Vandagriff would account for four of the Wolverines' touchdowns, making it four straight weeks with three or more touchdowns in a playoff game. The Prince Avenue defense also had their third straight game of not allowing more than six points to opponents as they limited Wesleyan to just a field goal tonight. for Vandagriff, he rushed for the Wolverines first score of the night that would give them a 7-3 lead in the first quarter. In the second quarter, he would throw for two touchdowns, one to Landon Owens and the other to Phillip Kelley as Prince Avenue would take a 24-3 lead into the locker room at the half.
