Empowered 4 Life fundraiser supports Newnan HS basketball and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta

When it comes to giving back to the community, the Empowered 4 Life non-profit organization out of Newnan, Georgia is always willing to step up to the plate. In addition to their student athlete training, E4L has helped raise support for the Coweta County community in various ways over the years. Recently, the organization came together to show support for the Newnan High School Boys basketball team and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta by hosting a golf tournament fundraiser. When speaking with E4L founder, Derrick Teagle, “understanding what your why is” plays a major role in why he chooses to support the local community, something that started when his son was diagnosed with cancer. “I knew we had to give back to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta because of what they had done for my family,” Teagle said in regards to Saturday’s golf fundraiser.
