Sandy Creek Tops Whitefield 13-9 In Non-Region Play For Fourth Stright Win

On Tuesday, the Sandy Creek Patriots softball team picked up a non-region win over the Whitefield Academy Wolfpack as both teams looked to get back to .500. Despite the Wolfpack taking an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, the game started off with solid performances on the mound from both CeCe Springfield of Whitefield and Breana Hopkins for Sandy Creek.

But eventually the bats would heat up for both teams, but it would be the Patriots outlasting the Wolfpack for the 13-9 win. With the win, Sandy Creek improves to 11-11 overall and picked up their fourth straight win. The loss for Whitefield is their second straight and drops them two games below .500.
